Pookie18 posts a political cartoon thread regularly where he puts up a link to the actual cartoons. Are they not allowed to be posted on an open thread, could this be what caused the problem?

Thank you for the observation. Looked around a little more and, given the Garrison cartoon I posted was gone, and Pookie18 posts links, I'm gonna go with "not allowed to be posted intact on a thread. I pm'd Pookie in case they have more info but let's assume professional cartoons like Garrison can't be posted on FR until further notice.
That's fine, but I don't get why the mod won't give a straight answer what the problem was, especially since Garrison has been posted all over here for years. We don't even know if that was it.
It was a funny cartoon, goodness knows we need some humor in here to offset some of the disturbing content that gets discussed. Guess we'll have to provide our own humor.
