I think I was the offender. That is the problem, no one knows what the offense was.
Folks on this thread work hard to police it for forbidden material. We need to know what the problem was if we are to prevent a reoccurrence.

Pookie18 posts a political cartoon thread regularly where he puts up a link to the actual cartoons. Are they not allowed to be posted on an open thread, could this be what caused the problem?
