The Browns are the most penalized team in the league. They released a player before the game for substance abuse. Now this. They’ve got discipline issues ... that starts at the top of the organization.
I would bet that Freddie will be gone at the end of this season or possibly before now as a result of this latest activity. Something ain’t right in Cleveland.
When you are perennial losers anger is bound to rise. The NFL loves having 5-10 poor teams in the league. It makes their TV contracts larger, allows the good teams and players to look even better and prevents competition in cities that can’t support an NFL team without revenue sharing. I would love to see the day when congress pulls the anti-trust exemption from pro sports leagues.
