A unanimous vote by the Lynn school committee Thursday night will make condoms, birth control and emergency contraceptives available at high schools in the Massachusetts city.
The meeting room was packed with parents giving their input, many concerned it's taking away their parental rights.
"She's 14. I don't believe she's ready for sex. I think kids are very immature these days. By handing out birth control and condoms, it's like giving them permission to go out and have sex," said parent Johnnieann Pahlm.

“By giving kids free birth control?”
Yes! It’s a trick they use.
I’ll let former clinic owner Caroll Everett explain it to you.

That lying and stealing is always wrong, and just what love means, and how one should be treated presumes a moral framework that provides this (lying to save Jews, stealing the knife of a maniac can be just, while suicidal persons agreeing to kill each other by consent is doing unto others...) So just what is your sure substantive standard of morality that provides this? Your own golden compass conscience?
The bible says NOTHING about what age to have sex. There are lots of instances of dudes with multiple wives, people killing each other and so on in your sainted Bible. Marriage (with a license) is a statist construct. So give it a rest.
So you think:
The Bible allows for pedophilia?
Polygamy is like fornication which must always be wrong?
People killing each other must always be wrong, or it was when commanded by God?
The Bible only supports marriage as licensed by the government, or that marriage is not necessary for valid sexual relation?
And again, since it not Scripture, just what is your sure substantive standard of morality that we can hold you to, and judge the beliefs and actions of others by?
Oh no, you can be here, even if contrary in religious belief to the foundation of the forum. But i ask, what is your sure substantive standard of morality?
Be back later.
I don’t think any of that and I am done talking to someone who twists things.
You mean your own position is not clear and misleading, while you have no clear sure and substantive source for such, yet demean the Bible and insult God and Christians by referring to Biblical teachings as "moral clap trap." Which seems to include its teaching on corporeal child discipline.
Correct dude, I do not tolerate beating as child discipline. And furthermore, adults assaulting children is totally unacceptable. You are right out of ht 15th century. Bye.
Typical of liberals, you term the Biblical judicious use of measured corporeal discipline as assault, but call it what you want, I am glad my dad spanked my be-hind when needed. At lot more need it.
The same hands the hug sometimes may have to spank. "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him." (Proverbs 22:15) But the liberal despise what Scripture says, and you have placed yourself in their camp. .
