Why spend the money? Couldn't you just bend over and get "treated" by someone that has already been dosed?

That's hilarious! Gives new meaning to the word "injection".

Seriously, though, the reason it costs $1.8M is that the cure is customized to the DNA and the disease that the targeted individual has. Who knows what it would do to another random individual?
