LOL. Have bought scissors for every room in the house. His collecting 7 from his area is a riot. Sometimes all we can do with our loved ones is love them regardless. LOL.
Speaking of tools: Hired man & mother just moved out of my rental on this lot. Stole $200-300 worth of tools—about the only sentimental things left from Dad—including large bench grinder, electric chain saw, maybe my breadmaker + $5,000+ in unpaid rent & utilities. Sigh. Struggling to get to the “In all things give thanks” status on that score.
They are only things. I’m still thankful for a lot of wonderful friends. Thanks for your kind reply.

UGH. I rented our vacation home several times. Good renters are hard to find. If I was going to do it again, I’d hire someone from real estate firm to manage it.
Course I’d rather use an outhouse in -15 degree weather vs renting anything ever again. LOL
Get the stolen goods back! Law after them!
