Ah, now I understand a comment that someone made a few days ago. I don't have the original comment, but I know it confused me at the time.
I think the comment said/meant something like this: The telephone call transcript that Schiff was reading to Congress was a fake transcript, leaked to him by a TRUMP insider.
I'll go even further. Perhaps it was a full-blown canary trap. Recall that the original transcript was placed in a top-secret vault, so that accessing it inappropriately and leaking it would be a crime. What if Trump's team substituted a false transcript for the real thing. Schiff then accessed and read out the false transcript, (1) making him look like an idiot, and (2) incriminating him in a federal crime.
Then Trump released the true transcript, sealing the deal.

Honestly, I rather think that for some unknown Reason, Schif for Brains was (and remains) eaten up with arrogance, and puffed up confidence of his firm grip on his own high position, as Chairman of Intel, and set free by PELOSI to highjack and usurp power away from the Judicial Committee and keep it under his jack boot.
