Yes, I remember the “carpetbagger” issue.
I like the things Keyes says, but I have never been impressed by his campaign strategies. Perhaps he’s not serious about winning.

Alan Keyes eloquently states truths with which I agree, and he logically incorporates references and cross-references to support his stances.
When I met the man, I probably scared the bejeebers out of him! I asked if it would be okay to give him a hug; then I gave him the biggest bear hug I could muster.
Twenty-plus years ago, Ambassador Keyes served as a catalyst. He opened doors to a minority people who live conservative lives but follow, with their votes, the demonrat party.
IMHO.
Don’t get me wrong, I have tremendous respect for Keyes. I was just criticizing his campaigns.
