I understand the necessity of keeping US military equipment out of the hands of foreigners, but it’s a rubber boat and an Evinrude motor.

I think this kind of equipment is used to board freighters (e.g., Somalia, piraters).

Uh, not quite— quite a bit more, and US military mil spec for sale to our military. Computerized, near dead silent motors for spec-ops boat insertions. The Brits have their own, and don’t share, and we don’t export to enemies. This Evinrude ETEC multifuel engine is top of the line tech. Mission critical, and heavy duty. Not a bass fishing motor.
