The snake was ‘planted’ around her neck. Somebody else did it and the snake was a convenient excuse, which will not be able to defend itself against alleged crime.A number of lawyers have offered to represent the snake pro bono (professional courtesy, you know.)

You really can’t “train” them to do diddly squat.
They do what they want and go where they go.
Handling them is pretty much just gently pushing their faces away from things you don’t want them knocking over or climbing up/under/inside of.
The only things I’ve seen them actually “learn” is that I mean food.
So when they’re hungry, they go out of their way to make sure I notice them and they dramatically fling around empty water pans.
Beyond that, they’re mostly existential things.
