Even though they sleep in their own, uh, output, pigs tend to be "very clean animals" (in the words of my late father), and of course, they're also smarter than most farm critters, and know what's coming. They lead lives of quiet desperation, y'know, because they're delicious.

Swine do NOT sleep in their “output”. Regardless how many are in a pen, they will select one corner of their pen in which to do their business, and the remaining space remains unsoiled.

Doesn’t matter how smart they are, bacon is still delicious.

They tend not to sleep in that “output” unless the pen is too small. Pigs prefer to have their eating, sleeping and outhouse in totally separate areas.
