My husband and I witnessed a fireball as we were driving home from church several years ago.
I was gazing up at the night sky looking at what I thought was an airliner, when suddenly the light started going around in a circle, then BOOM! The sky lit up in all directions.
At first we thought a terrorist may have blown up the airliner, but the explosion was so bright, we realized it was a comet.
Needless to say, it was an awesome, unsettling experience. We didn’t say a word to each other for the rest of the ride home.
That was wild, wasn’t it?
Several years ago we had one go over us here in Pasco, WA. during the night. It was so bright it lit up our bedroom like it was daytime even though the blinds were closed.
