I too wonder why more don’t step up.
Maybe because only a democrat can get away with a checkered background. Maybe because so many things, and relatives, can be taken the wrong way in the public eye?
Politics are a nasty business. That might be why so many Conservatives are reluctant to do it. Maybe we need a ‘recruitment’ arm for conservative leaders in politics.
Yes though I think Dems already on it. They're getting young, attractive candidates with military background to win over "moderates".
But we could have better if we had an outreach.
