Gargling with vinegar works real good for a sore throat... ..... I tried gargling years ago, I used Jack Daniels, did it work? After about 5 gargles, I didn’t care. You don’t have to spit it out like vinegar.

At first hint of sore throat, I gargle deep with hot salty water. Use only Iodized salt.
Follow with listerine or Dr. Tichenor’s gargle.
All gone.

At first hint of diarrhea, eat some probiotic plain yogurt.
And then— this will sound weird— drop a spoonful of the yogurt on toilet paper & wipe with it.
Thorough hand washing every step is imperative.
The probiotic re-balances the good bacteria in the GI tract.

At first hint of pinkeye, wet a cotton ball with water, squeeze it, wet it again with white vinegar, pat the eye.
Stings like heck for a second, then gone.

My cold & fever go-to is NyQuil or a hot toddy of lemon & honey water, with a Halls Eucalyptus lozenge.

For head & chest congestion, tablespoon of thyme in boiling water, breathe the steam.

Warm chicken noodle soup with a dash of thyme works too.
