I am an attorney with experience in this Court. This is an “administrative stay” that sheds little if any light into what the court is going to decide. It just freezes the status quo until the briefing is complete. Not big news.— Jan Hasselman (@JanHasselman) October 29, 2019

One caveat - a stay is only granted if it is deemed likely the appellant will prevail upon appeal. SOP but the caveat applies ;)
