But troops on border may well be and likely are authorized to use lethal force, and IIRC I read something about that a long time ago, if they are attacked. What with the MX military capitulating to cartels, and cartels having mil weaponry and equipment, serious violence is likely to increase at the border and I sure would hope our mil is authorized to use lethal force if necessary!

These documents specify certain conditions relating to civil disturbance; this is what the talking head found terrifying. :) Yes you’d think a military might be authorized to, under certain circumstances, use force, weapons etc and perhaps even harsh language. :)
