Saw Johnny in a small club - played like a mad man for an hour and a half straight. Said goodnight and just walked off the stage.

I never saw Jonny. However, I did see Alvin Lee of Ten Years After in 1985 play in a bar in Syracuse. The name on his tour bus was Choo Choo Mama. The guy played like a wild man.
I caught a Johnny show way back in the day. Same thing. Small club, played his ass off for 90 minutes. Said thanks and left.
