We used to get venison when my father hunted, but we haven’t had any in years. I have some church friends who hunt deer on their own land; maybe I’ll ask if they have any meat on offer.

Can't hurt to ask. Personally I love it, and consider it healthier than most store-bought meat. My wife is uninterested, says it tastes unpleasant to her. To each their own.

Darn shame about PhotoBucket changing their policy - I notice your photos are blurred out. Same thing happened to me, and I had to pull all my photos from PB and have them hosted elsewhere. Nevertheless, congrats on your fine family! (if somewhat blurry ;-) )
