You got that right! If not mistaken, the Abrams are made in my native Buckeye state in Lima. “...way to go Ohio...”
Story I read: Abrams tankers were in one that took a crap and wouldn’t go. The Iraqis were approaching so the crew called for backup and a ride out of there. Another Abrams crew showed up quickly for rescue and put two rounds into the disabled tank to render is useless to the raggedy men.
When the dust settled the next day, a repair/retrieval crew went to fetch the tank carcass. Upon inspection, the shot tank wasn’t all that bad. The retrievers did a little of this and a little of that and drove the “dead” machine back to base.
Tough birds.

Certainly is pretty neat for a civilian.
Cool is the guy that does that “tank-thing” for a living.
I was on a sub, but tanks take claustrophobia to a whole new level.
