No. The judge is reacting to the Governor getting involved. Instead of giving the boys (these are twins) to the mother and saying the father can’t see them unless he is indoctrinated and then totally goes along with the Mother’s delusion that James is a girl ... he gets a partial vote in the boys’ care and, a minor fop, doesn’t have to pay the ex-wife’s legal fees.
He’s been hit with a gag order, and the ruling is tailored to shut down the father’s legal fund. More importantly, the judge did NOT say the child isn’t going forward with sex hormone injections. It just says the father can have a SAY.
The mother is a pediatrician and political activist, so she’s already getting more weight in court in her delusion that one son is really a daughter. (It started when one twin boy liked the girls’ toy at McDonalds more than the boy toy.) The fact that she and her chosen consultants consider gender change medically appropriate has not changed.
Dad’s outgunned and now hamstrung.
This is a custody case I thought. Usually just a judge decision, not usually a jury involved
