I remember unrolling the cap rolls belonging to my brothers and pounding them with rocks. Didn’t have too much interest in the guns — boy stuff.

Boy stuff? My little sister and I loved playing with our cap guns and would practice getting shot and dying, seeing who could die most dramatically. We were probably 4 and 6. Neither of us grew up to be violent, either. :-D

Well, I was what was then called a tomboy. Loved climbing trees and making forts, but I also played with dolls and tea setz. Playing cowboy or army were just boy stuff and didn’t interest me. (Not violent either, but I talk a good game. :)
