Another significant thing I just realized is that when asked about it, Romney replied “C’est moi” = “It’s me”.
Did he deliberately say this in French to out himself? Or was this a Freudian slip on his part?
If you weren’t already thinking that the name sounded like foreign words, Romney’s reply would certainly push you further in that direction.
