I think it may apply to ALL of us. Not just kids.
I know *I* am resistant to find out that people who I thought were conservative are really evil/DS.
(Heck, I’m resistant to find out the the libs are evil/DS. I’d much prefer to think that they just have a different opinion on the best way to govern. I’d like to think they were decent but ignorant people who could be swayed by sensible conservative arguments and facts.)
I’m resistant, but hopefully not in denial. My goal is to look at the evidence, to find the truth. May God grant me the discernment to sift the truth from the lies.
