Browsing the ‘Net today, I saw some lefty shrieking because President Trump said he was going to build a wall in Colorado.
The shrieking lefty raged that “we can’t afford a wall in Colorado” until Alabama receives aid for Hurricane Dorian.
As I recall, the left flogged President Trump daily for a few weeks when he repeated estimates which noted Dorian could potentially effect AL.
So I went looking to see what’s going on with Alabama and Hurricane Dorian. I could not find a single report of damage in Alabama. I did see AL rolled a Emergency Task force into Mobile which eventually left to stay out of the path of the storm. Curious that they would withdraw claiming to avoid a threat if there wasn’t one.
So the game plan seems to be ridicule President Trump for noting AL was potentially in the path of the storm, AL sends a team to help with damage anticipated in Mobile, and then ridicule President Trump later for not sending aid to the unaffected area?
There’s a long shot chance the shrieking lefty is right, that there WAS damage in AL; but no one wants to admit it because the left “laughed” long and hard when Trump said it might hit there. If so, the average citizens would be caught in the middle of their own officials’ stupidity and pride. Sadly, it’s a possibility.
