Once the House votes impeachment, doesnt it move to the Senate automatically? no more house committee investigations?

if that's true it is smart of Trump to force the vote, goes to Senate, dies.

It’s all about keeping the word impeachment in the forefront through the election. Stupid people attach to this easily especially with the typical American “education”.

That is done during the trial in the senate

So Mad Max says impeach 45. The house votes yes. But still no crimes are alleged?

Interesting. When does the House present evidence of High Crimes?

They have to find some first.

There is a ‘second’ vote only if the first vote allowing inquiry shows there are crimes that call for that ‘2nd’ vote.

There has been no first vote because democrats in red districts need cover.

Adan Schiff is ‘investgating’ and writing articles of impeachment in secret without Republicans being able to call witnesses or ask questions.

The CONSTITUTION states that ‘The House’ votes to open impeachment inquiry, not the Speaker, not a lying sleazy deviant committee chairman, THE HOUSE, plural/inclusive.

Show me where it says that in the U.S. Constitution. In reference to the House's roll in impeachments, it only says this:

"The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; and shall have the sole power of impeachment."

They have to vote articles of impeachment which lay out the charges and factual evidence in support to support taking it to trial in the senate. And to get the facts they need evidentiary hearings. And to force testimony at hearings they need subpoenas. And to get subpoenas they need to vote to open the impeachment inquiry. It’s a nasty chain of requirement that have the twisted in a logical pretzel of their own making.

Because the only way the house acts is based upon Rules voted in by the membership.

"Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings"

No rules and there are no proceedings of the House. They have to vote.

I was talking about the Constitution, not the House rules. Which, by the way, can be changed by a simple majority at any time.

The Democrats have already voted against impeachment twice, most recently in July. This current farce has not been voted on. It is a fiction to impress the unintelligent DemocRAT base.

Trump is genius to try to force them to a third vote by refusing to cooperate with his own lynching unless they vote.

The process is supposed to go:

1. Vote to start the process.
2. Investigation
3. The Judicial Committe writes and passes articles of impeachment.
4. The house votes on those articles.
5. The passed articles are sent to the Senate for Trial.

The President and the minority should be represented and allowed to have access to the proceedings.

By not “starting” the process, they locked out all of the “precedents” of fairness. Nixon got better treatment. And he actually broke laws.

Let me restate. It is after the skipped vote, the investigation, and the vote of the whole House that will likely never come on whether to impeach and send the prosecutors to the Senate.

The House has to draw up articles of impeachment and pass at least one article for the case to go to the Senate for trial. An impeachment is is like an indictment.

Everything else is House rules. House rules state that an impeachment "inquiry" must be voted on. Nancy Pelosi skipped that part.

The process, as it's been documented:

My question, as well. What are the High Crimes and Misdemeanors and what code in the Federal Criminal Code was violated? I don’t think....He’s a big meanie...is in there, but I could be wrong.

Does he not get a chance to defend himself in the House or does that take place in the Senate? When is he allowed to ask for disclosure and get all their information?

It is the President’s job to FORCE the “putschists” in the ‘Rat party to follow the Constitution and GO ON RECORD prior to 2020.

Dragging them kicking and screaming through the mud of this transparently phony process is not going to hurt him - in fact, it will HELP him in 2020.

Yes. And under the Constitution all they have to do is vote, which is what they don’t want to be forced to do.

Not until they finish the testimony and subpoenas. They vote to open. Then vote on articles. Then it goes to the senate

You obviously weren’t around for watergate
