On our current course America won’t be American in a hundred years. Look around you at the people that are having children, these children are those that will be voting in 18 years. It happens incrementally, boiling the frog as they say, but in my home state of Mississippi I can’t help but notice when I go to the store that most children are being born to young women without husbands, or at least that is my best guess when I see a young 20’s girl with five children and no man around that pays for groceries with her EBT card. If not that then they’re single women speaking spanish with five young kids in tow. The professional looking young couples, they’re not being followed by children.
Democrats play the long game and they’re pandering to America’s future demographic, not the traditional families of yesteryear. Like it or not, future decisions in this country are going to be made by people that were most likely raised in single parent households on government benefits. Their ideas on policy are going to align a lot more with AOC than Ronald Reagan. This is America’s future.
