I have had good luck with IpVanish VPN. If you hunt around you can get it for 3 bones a month. I have a 100 megabit connection and see 90 up 90 down encrypted so pretty low overhead.
2000 or so servers worldwide to pick from and I run a script that picks the fastest one. (Lowest ping time) I see 15ms pings to the backbone encrypted. I tunnel out over 443 using TCP protocol so all my traffic looks like secure browsing.
They don’t keep logs so I am virtually invisible.
At my age I don’t care anymore. If somebody wants me, bring it.

Seems to be working ok.
Only a fool would use a Free VPN.
