If you eat eggs and high carbs along with them, that is a problem.
In that case, you would be better off not eating the eggs.
The big problem is combining high carbs and high fats, that’s a double-whammy.
Eliminate the carbs, and you can eat eggs to your heart’s content.
I usually do three eggs, three slices of bacon, sautéed onions and mushrooms, a couple slices of cheese, and an avocado or some other fruit or veggie. Plus coffee with cream. Occasionally I’ll do a slice of buttered Ezekiel bread but in general I try to steer clear of starchy carbs. I would describe my overall approach as moderate low carb. It’s worked pretty well — I’ve been doing it for about four years and have gradually lost about 30 pounds. At this point I’m within a few pounds of my college weight and feel really healthy. I should add that I eat a lot of fermented foods — kimchi, kraut, whole milk plain yogurt.
