[SATs] have long since been jettisoned in favor of political correctness and those with connections or a sob story.

No. No. No. Last I heard, the SATs are going to add an "adversity" score so the facade of legitimacy can be maintained.

Ergo, it will be up to each school to take that "score" into consideration (cough..cough), or not, during the admittance vetting.
