Would you think the same thing if the black guy had accidentally walked into her apartment and shot her...a cop...thinking an armed woman in his apartment was an immediate threat to his life?
I would argue that your average white woman is not as dangerous as your average black man.
Remember, Jesse Jackson did not get scairt when white people walked up on him. But he did when it was black men.
I think she over-reacted - but I would go for my gun too if i walked into the wrong apartment and saw a black guy there. I would not have shot unless attacked, but I would have been prepared.
