Clemson really hasn’t looked that good. They just seem out of rhythm. Maybe they will get back to where they were last year or maybe not.

Can’t disagree with Alabama being no. 1 tho Ohio State has really been impressive.

My Clemson Tigers better get their act together after the bye week. Their schedule is only going to get harder.

Agreed on Ohio State.

They have throttled every team they’ve met.

Riiiight. Check these powerhouses Bama has played so far:

Duke
New Mexico State
South Carolina
Southern Miss
Ole Miss

The remaining 7 games - 2 top ten teams....LSU and Auburn.

Mack missed it by “” that much. Good call to go for two but not a good play call. Fun game though.

Not a Clemson follower but Dabo is one of the good guys.

Donald Fagen in an interview with The Wall Street Journal:

When Walter came over, we started on the music, then started filling in more lyrics to fit the story. At that time, there had been a lineman with the Los Angeles Rams and the San Diego Chargers, Deacon Jones. We weren’t serious football fans, but Deacon Jones’s name was in the news a lot in the 1960s and early ‘70s, and we liked how it sounded. It also had two syllables, which was convenient, like “Crimson.” The name had nothing to do with Wake Forest’s Demon Deacons or any other team with a losing record. The only Deacon I was familiar with in football at the time was Deacon Jones.

Florida Atlantic
Cincinnati
Indiana
Miami Ohio
Nebraska

Underwhelming schedule

Four top 25 teams to come remainder of season

Truly a soft schedule for such a perennial powerhouse team

Amazing the realignment of college football power since my youth in the 60s but Ohio State and Alabama remain near the top half a century later while others have become nobodies

Ohio State should HAVE to play more than four ranked teams

To be fair....
Alabama schedule has been soft too so far

Lots of great games so far, yet no major upsets at this point

At least ten with reasonable chances for Final 4

I wouldn’t have Clemson this high yet. The consensus No. 1 preseason position is keeping them at No. 2 or 3

Ohio State dismantled the Fuskers. That INT with the guy on his back doomed them.

Can’t wait to see ou get some real competition. Same for Bama

The top three I would have based on resume. Of the others THE Ohio State has looked the most dominant and complete.

1. Auburn
2. LSU
3. Georgia
4. Ohio State
5. Alabama

RIght now it’s basically one of four SEC teams, that I can see winning the conference and getting to the playoffs: Alabama, Georgia, LSU or Auburn. One of those teams will survive the gauntlet.

But I also see Ohio State, Oklahoma and Clemson going unbeaten, so that means there will only be one SEC team in the playoffs.

Who wouldn’t want to see Tua vs. Jalen?

The good thing is that Bama, LSU, and Auburn all play each other. As a result, we will know who is the best. As a Bama fan, I am also well aware that Auburn plays like the freakin New England Patriots when the game is on the Plains. This will be interesting...

I think something is wrong with Clemson’s QB. At times he still looks great but at other times not so good. He ran one into the end zone and showed that he still has the heart.

Maybe girl friend troubles. They really can mess you up. Of course he may get over it and start throwing darts again.
