White House is expected to send a letter to Pelosi today arguing it doesn’t have to comply with any impeachment-related requests because the House never took a formal vote codifying the parameters of an impeachment probe.
Today is deadline for Pompeo to provide documents related to the impeachment probe to Hse Cmtes. We do not expect the administration to comply. Such a refusal could help House Democrats craft an article of impeachment around obstruction of Congress.

If you remember Pence’s daughter was in Turkey when our Airport base was surrounded and the Turkey Journalist were under attack. She had written a couple of article on women’s rights in Turkey. That’s the significance of the 2017 dated of article Nikk posted It certainly got the attention of our administration.
At that time there was much discussion of Americans being involved with with an attempted coup of Turkey government.(and money passing thru hands to finance it)
I do remember Erdogan accusing the US in helping with the coup to overthrow him.
But our corrupt lying LSM didn’t care to report much on it.
Maybe they knew who some of the key players were and it was a coverup.

That and there were “journalists involved”. So they were running cover for their own. Remember CYA uses both journalist and people attached to embassy to promote their causes. Follow the money will fit almost all situations.
When the post was made that the embassy in Turkey should be ready for the quake, my first thought was there was going to be a shake up at the embassy This morning having second thoughts: am thinking it may be a quake that will need the embassy be prepared to evacuate Americans out of Turkey. That the shake up is within the population making it unsafe for our citizens who live with the country.
