Maybe I missed it, but how is Aerosmith not getting more love on this thread?

Aerosmith is a National Treasure. I believe they get the short end of the stick in these discussions because you basically have two bands....pre-Permanent Vacation and post-PV. I think the older fans sort of resent the "new fans" because their song favs push tunes like Nobody's Fault off the set list. It's a bit like Van Halen vs Van Hagar, except in the case of Aerosmith it's the same band that splits the vote. To be fair, I'm not a fan of Aerosmith's newer material but I'd ever discount their influence on music.

I’m not getting that either. They have classics from the 70’s that are still popular today. Like the Stones, a couple of their songs have been used in movie soundtracks many times.

They lost their cred when they started sappy Diane Warren penned love ballads for movie soundtracks.
