Sorry that it was that bad. I’ve tried since the end of August to get one from Burger King. First I was too busy, then Dorian halted the resupply trucks. Saturday I learned that Impossible Foods’ CEO, Patrick Brown, was one of the signatories of the letter to the Senate advocating Red Flag laws and universal background checks.

So, I’ll never eat one. Impossible Foods products are now in about 10,000 restaurants — including White Castle, Red Robin and Burger King — with plans to launch in grocery stores in September.

I don't know about you, but when I was a child, the "Whopper" was actually a larger burger.
Now, the damn thing is shrinking.....
Soon to be the size of a Krystal

Whalers were about the size of the whopper also. Now, they're about the size of a slider

I wonder where the saturated fat comes from?

Just like fake sugars. Fake food always leaves a bad aftertaste.

They changed the original commercial because it told the truth in a one word comment from the woman at the end.

She exclaims, “Lies”!

The new commercial no longer shows her but she is the only one that tells the truth.

It ain’t meat and it ain’t close!

I didn’t have problems with taste, aftertaste, smell, or texture but it was 2X more expensive than I would pay on a regular basis.

A plant based “burger” that leaves a nasty aftertaste and has a nasty after smell.

Hmmm. If you put the plants together with the cow, the cow would consider it the cud.

A premier greasy spoon burger spot where I live has evidently done a spot for them and offers the impossible burger. This place is widely known throughout the area and by word of mouth through all of the locally stationed military personnel. I’ll be interested to see if they have it on the menu the next time I go there.

A fine example of putting lipstick on a pig. It wastes your time, annoys the pig, and the pig is still a pig.

58 grams of carbs! Certainly not for a diabetic. Diabetics can eat all of the green veggies they want but none of those even approach 58 grams, plus the 12 grams of sugar. I’m guessing the sugar is there to make the flattened cow turd brown up on the grill. What kind of fat are they using is another question. Bet it’s neither vegetarian nor haleel.

They slather a lot of mayo on it. Tell them hold the mayo and it would be healthier.

Tried BeyondMeat too. Didn’t love it, though my butcher said a lot of people do.

I have meat-free days, basically with tofu and tempeh. Tempeh is not bad at all. mixed with lots of veggies in a pan, but tofu needs help. Found a great recipe for mixing a bunch of spices in a pan, stirring them in oil, plopping tofu in to coat on all sides, then sautéing . It was a winning MasterChef recipe, the challenge was to make yucky tofu taste good.

If you want to.

So IOW the GreenBurger is *less* healthy.

If they’re so against real meat, why do they do everything they can to mimic real meat?
