You get an A+ for posting that, thanks!
I agree with Joyce Alene that a President can’t offer US aid to a foreign country in exchange for prosecution of a political opponent. But I’m not so sure I’m against offering aid in exchange for prosecution of a murderer, child molester, or other heinous criminal.
The dems seem to be trying to claim that being a politician is a “get out of jail free card”. Or a “get out of prosecution” card. Why in the world should that be so? Are politicians above the law? No. They said so over and over during the Mueller testimony!!
0vomit era: Rampant lawfare against conservatives. IRS weaponized against conservative citizens and groups. Environmental laws, zoning laws, child custody laws.... You name it. Conservatives were attacked for petty issues in order to cripple them and destroy them.
Trump era: Remains to be seen, but it sure looks to me like Trump is completely uninterested in “process crimes” or petty issues. In fact, he has done an amazing job of making life better for millions of (heretofore) dems, with huge gains in employment and quality of life for blacks, women, hispanics, etc. It looks to me like Trump is focused on MAJOR CRIMES. Real crimes, not petty bureaucratic crap. He is going after the murderers, after thieves who have stolen millions or billions (not a pack of gum from the grocery store). He is not going after someone who forgot to check some obscure box on some obscure bureaucratic paperwork. He is going after those who KNOWINGLY signed papers which were lies. Serious lies. (NP, you got that? You swore 0vomit was eligible to run for President. KNOWINGLY.)
Trump is going after the absolute dregs of society, NOT after those who have opposing political views.
