That stuff is kookie. There are REAL mechanisms that transfer power, including the fundamental power of creating currency. Admiralty is not part of that. Yes, there are corporations (Federal Reserve is one). Yes, there are secret deals. I submit that public legislation is effectively secret, who reads it?

I think they are just building the grounds to remove Kavanaugh if they regain power (hopefully never! ...or after H3ll freezes over!) Various mentions of RBG's possible health and a near SCOTUS opening could factor in. With that in mind, I think much of their recent activities is aimed at firing up their base with 2020 in view AND fund raising.

Fund raising is vital because of they lose the House and don't gain the Senate and the WH then they see all their power and dreams of power - especially via judges - eroding away. Dems do not pass unpopular legislation if they can get their corrupt judges to mandate it from the bench.

Thomas Jefferson warned that one of the greatest threats to the Republic could be a tyranny by the judges. That time has arrived to help block Prez Trump.

First, I agree completely with the logic of "their recent activities are aimed at firing up their base with 2020 in view AND fund raising."

Another point must be considered as well: Obama left so many judicial slots open (presumably so that HRC could profit after the election by selling the seats) and Trump has been filling them so rapidly the left is in extreme peril of losing all or most of the Power of the Bench they've been accumulating over the years.

So what's the usual tactic when the left has opposition to anything?

Does destruction by slander, lies or blackmail sound familiar?

I'd almost bet that this Kavanaugh ploy is just the opening move on a campaign to do exactly the same to every Trump appointee since the Inauguration.

Stirring up their base and fund raising is just a bonus.
