I’ve got gobs of cucumbers to put into a salad(after peeling qnd deseeding)

I think the zucchini might be done.

I have a raised bed with some really pitiful Charlie Brown tomato plants and watermelon plants. I think I’ll just grab the maters and yank them all out so I can fill it up with garlic.

I have a bunch of green tomatoes on some other plants that I might just pick and bring in before the tree rats get them.
The little creeps take a bite or two and chuck ‘em.

I’m actually kind of hoping the cucumbers are done. They went like gangbusters once they got going.

I’ve been busy helping my mom at her house so not much time and energy left when I get home. I still have all that canning to do. Bunch of meat, blueberries and grapes in the freezer. I wonder if I might have gotten the grapes a bit too soon. Lots of green ones but you can juice the green ones, put the juice in ice cube trays and use it in for middle eastern food for acid, limey type stuff.

I went through the closet this morning and weeded out three good sized bags of stuff to donate. I really need to pare down my sewing stuff but can’t let go.

When I have a glut of yarn, which is like ALWAYS, I single some out for charity projects and that gets it out of my house. :)

I do preemie caps, baby blankets, shelter pet blankets, scarves and hats for homeless Vets, etc.
