Has a legal mind like Levin.

Yeah, they both think Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, are natural born citizens of the United States.

Cruz you belong on the Supreme Court.

As Chief Justice.

Can he be named Chief Justice and have Roberts bumped down?

He definitely wasn’t fully baked in 2016.. him nor Rubio....

Cruz definitely has a likability issue when it comes to national politics.

You can never know what the future holds, but I have a hard time seeing him winning the presidency anytime soon.

I said "The Pole Position", bit the nomination. It means that up against a candidate with similar stands on the issues, that his service to and experience with the president is the tie breaker.

I think there are other considerations (e.g., effectiveness as a public speaker) that come before experience as VP. I guess in the IMO wildly unlikely event of a tie in EVERY other relevant consideration, I'd use "service".

“I hope to run again”

Didn’t Calvin Coolidge say that?

That would actually be a good place for him.

“I thought the baldness gene came from the mom’s side.”

I think that might be an old wives tale. My mom had five brothers and they were all bald as people can get, I have a full head of hair just like my daddy.

But I do know that cleft chins come from the father’s side.

I hope he does... I wanted him before I went with Trump. I’d love to see him on the SC...

If Cruz were nominated, you can be sure that the Democrats will file suit because of ineligibility.

No thanks. Used to love the guy-he conducted himself very poorly during the campaign, won’t be fooled again.

Repetitive loser alert. This Canadian American is neither eligible nor likeable.
His ideé fixe and poor reality testing (he almost lost in his last Texas election how would he win Nationally?) make him a joke as a Presidential candidate.
Cruz occasionally makes an astute analysis or policy statement but much more regularly makes hypocritical sanctimonious statements about POTIS to keep his own name in the headlines and buff his brand.

He knows what the founders meant, he just puts his own ambition ahead of the Constitution.

I don’t want him anywhere near the court.

You said it all right there. It's about Ted & what he has to do or say to get elected, not about the Country or about Americans. He lied to Texans about his citizenship, about his campaign financing. All hat & no cattle.

I doubt Ted Cruz will ever be US President. He can’ connect with people very well. Smartest kid in the Sixth Grade. He plays in Texas but won’t play nationally.

Why do we need to make Cruz happy? If he puts himself above the law and interprets based on his own situation rather than the Constitution why would we want him as a judge?

It’s not just book learning that makes a good judge, it takes a person with a strong moral code who is not swayed by selfish considerations or by outside pressure.

How about the rat fornication? That was a big turnoff for me. What kind of a man forgets himself enough to go there on National TV?
