That's reasonable. I post the "OMG-IT'S-BOKE" news items when I see them because it MIGHT help a fellow FReeper figure out what's wrong with their system, and it gives a heads-up to folks to look out for symptoms.
Experience does indicate that some percentage of users will have problems regardless, so we have to filter that noise out.
