How the hell does she have that much money? I’ve never met anybody who owned a Bette Midler record. I mean I know she’s rich, but that apartment is mega mega rich.

I’m guessing she got the place 20 years ago for two to four to five million, or so, and now is trying to cash in big, figuring time and her name make it worth $50 million. And she might be right - but only about the time part!
