One of my questions is why would God start us on eating grains more so than meat but now thousands of years later Keto advocates think they know better than God who designed the human body? The article clearly says “long term” 2-3 years of Keto style eating is not long term.
My thought is people got themselves out of wack and temporarily shfting eating style is good to bring levels back to more balance but not for long term because omitting certain food groups we were designed to eat (the body was designed to use carbs as fuel) can lead to other imbalances down the road.
Where do you get the, god started us off on grains thing?
Humans were hunter/gatherers for nearly the entirety of their existence. Agriculture is only 10,000 years old. As hunter/gatherers we are built to primarily use meat, but can eat vegetables as a supplementary diet when meat isn't available. That's our history and still our current biology.
