For all of you who have doubts about climate change models (probably none of you!) here’s why I argue against “trusting” models.
Post 418 shows 20 models of the hurricane path. None of them predict the same thing. They all start from the same place, then diverge wildly. In fact, the tracks in that image are far more coincident than some I’ve seen that show several tracks going across FL and into the Gulf, then looping back east again.
I’m not against building models to try to understand or predict such phenomena. I’m just against foolishly believing that they are “true”.
