We are in the EARLY STAGES right now ... of what is going to happen. Most wars have a lengthy buildup. For example, there was a lot of violence for several years before the American War of Independence or our Civil War finally got underway officially.
Anyway, Hong Kong may be to our present times as the Free City of Danzig was in 1939.
