Anyone with a cellphone can tell you battery life is an issue. While wireless shifting is interesting I think
a smooth shifting under load and some feedback on what the shift is more important.

I also had a bike that didn’t want to die, a steel alloy Fuji 21 speed, 3 chainrings, lots of duplication in the gears and heavy.

I like the idea on 11 or 12 gears and only one shifter.

I do not trust electronic shifting. Race teams are staying away from it.
