JMO, but something going on with the hurricane tweets. First, he gets the media to draw attention to it with the fake story about nuking hurricanes. Then a couple of odd posts about PR & hurricanes.

The U.S. Navy shut down its Task Force Climate Change (TFCC), which was established by President Barack Obama in 2009, reported E&E News’ Greenwire. The closure was quiet and occurred in March, according to Greenwire, and “the group’s tab on the Navy’s energy, environment and climate change website was removed sometime between March and July.” The purpose of the TFCC was to evaluate how climate change affects or could affect Naval and national security operations.
Retired Navy Rear Admiral Jon White, who ran the TFCC under the Obama administration from 2012 to 2015, said the shut down was “suspicious.” “It was a very quiet canceling of the task force,” he told E&E News.

I was catching up on this very early this AM using my phone as I normally do. I tend to go to LAST and then work my way up thread. On one scroll upward, the scroll stopped at the midpoint of these pics (the pics were cut in half), and I swear that the one on the right...well, I thought it was a mailbox with a drape over the post structure. That thing HRC is toting...thought it was a mailbox. Plenty of space for hot sauce I reckon.

Unlike a lot of people here I never supported Ted Cruz in 2016, and was strongly pro Trump and against Cruz.

In any case there is really no comparison with this year
Trump is a popular incumbent with the entire GOP apparatus supporting him from the get go.
Walsh is merely a gnat.
Cruz was a serious candidate, and it was a tough race for Trump. He hired Manafort a couple months before the convention because there was still a chance of a brokered convention.
Cruz’s worst moment, to me, was house graceless non-concession, non-endorsement speech at the convention. It was unbecoming, and tarnished his image.
Walsh doesn’t have a national profile, and is going no where. Another blow-up Bill Kristol love-doll.

I always loved her rendition of nothing compares to you. Prince (died in an elevator) wrote that song which she performed so beautifully.
I never ever read lyrics or concerned myself with lyric meaning. I was a melody/beat music listener. Now I am studying the lyrics and my eyes are helping me hear and be a better listener. I study songs now and listen while reading the lyrics and read background on the artists. Can’t help but open the eyes.
When she sings about flowers planted in the backyard all died when mama went away sends chills up my spine because now all I can think of is Q and all the flower gardens.

The more I think about it the more I really really want us to have Greenland in my lifetime.
