Back in the old days we had a saying, I may disagree with your words but I’ll defend to the death your right to say them. That’s all out the window now. Another way to say it, if you want free speech you have to tolerate a lot of nonsense being said, just like if you’re going to have freedom of religion you have to tolerate a lot of crazy cults.
