I think wanting to rise up the ranks without paying dues had a lot to do with it... Ego can be such a detriment sometimes.

I think their strategy was to start with a completely concocted basis for their conspiracy, but then proceed completely “by the book” as if the basis wasn’t fantasy. So I don’t know exactly why they declased it but I think it must be something to do with that.
