The interesting point is that these N.W. states, like Washington and Oregon, are not really blue. It’s the large metropolitan areas, such as Seattle and Portland, that are.
Seattle specifically is King County which determines outcomes of all state wide elections
There a lot of Trump supporters in Washington state. There were more than 16,000 at Trump’s Lynden rally in 2016. Lynden is in northern Washington up by the Canadian border.
A couple months later in 2016 there was a rally in Everett Washington. Supporters lined up more ten blocks or so to attend. Everett is about 30 miles north of Seattle.
There were people from Seattle at both these rallies but Washington state Trump supporters are vastly out numbered in Seattle proper. The Seattle voters are the ones who turn the state blue.
Seattle is so lefty that even the total libtard Bezos is moving large chunks of Amazon across the lake to Bellevue which has a much better business climate. Strange but true, part of what makes Bellevue more conservative is the number of Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs who have settled there.
They own real estate and small businesses and they like to have good police and no homeless camps.
And some smaller towns but leftists tend to cluster, you know, like roaches and RATS.
Yes, and King County WA controls the outcome of elections with the usual democrat tactic of wait and see how many ballots are needed.
The Elections Director Dean Logan got caught red-handed in vote fraud in the 2004 gubernatorial race between Christine Gregoire (D) and Dino Rossi (R). But it didn’t matter because a lavendar judge with male body parts and an earring plugged into his loving soft lobe decided that the fraudulent votes that came out of the woodwork to overturn Rossi’s first two winning recounts were not ‘traceable’ to which candidate they went for. In other words, the fraudulent votes that put Gregoire over the top cound have been somehow Rossi votes.
Logan was forced to resign but what happened to him? He got a promotion to go to LA County in California.
Exactly!!
Well, if that makes you feel better, but most all states are like that. Seattle is where the people live and defines your state, so your state is blue. Hardly anyone lives in the rural areas so those counties have little influence.
Basically the same for NY and I hear, Mass.
Same in California. Inland California, where people have to deal with reality, is red. Coastal metropolises of SF and LA and Silicon Valley, where people deal with fantasy, are blue, and unfortunately they tend to dominate the discussion. There are many conservatives in the blue areas who dare not speak up due to being outnumbered.
That goes for every state in the country. Except for San Francisco, LA, and Sacramento, California is red conservative.
