When word got out during the last presidential election that Seattle developer Martin Selig would be supporting Donald Trump, the blowback from our liberal town, he said, was stunning.

People say "oh, you can't let politics kill a friendship" but why would I want to be friends with people who are actively seeking to destroy the foundations of this country, who support politicians and fund celebrities who want to (quite literally) erase me and my "type" from the map? It's nearly impossible for me anymore to separate someone's politics from who they are as a person/citizen. The days of everyone "just wanting a better world for their children" are over and they are never coming back. Awful stuff.

Agreed.
They were nuts 15 or 20 years ago but most of the ones in my office actually loved the country.
Of course there were some nuts who hated America.
But now it would be ALL 40.

Reddit is notorious for this.
“Mods” will literally delete massive numbers of comments, and then lock them. Afterwards they ban a bunch of conservatives.

From the snarky comments that were in the article, I can fully understand why they would disable comments. Those people cannot tolerate a different point of view.

Yup. Scoop Jackson loved his country unlike most (not Un-American) Anti-American Democrats.

No good reason to give up the Seattle location to the globalists without a fight. Microsoft is not our friend. It is China’s friend. Google is not our friend. It is China’s friend. FakeBook is not our friend. It is China’s friend. I’m betting most of Washington’s weapons held by citizenry are found in flyover country. With most of the food source.

And that, is indicative of his real support.
Even here in lowlife California there are donors to Trump, even though we know our vote doesn’t matter...

In Washington state, where his approval rating is 28 points underwater, Trump has still racked up far more donations, big and small, than any of the Democratic candidates in fact more than the top six Democrats combined. That's a surprise... We should warn them NOT to wear MAGA hats at night - unless they're with with a large group.

It's amazing that anyone would vote for an American president who works to benefit Americans.
Vote Democrat/CPUSA(Comunist Party USA) More taxes. More poverty. More homelessness. More crime. More corruption. Less freedom. Equal poverty and misery for all (*except politicians-more for them, they deserve it. They care).

Well, if that makes you feel better, but most all states are like that. Seattle is where the people live and defines your state, so your state is blue. Hardly anyone lives in the rural areas so those counties have little influence.

The interesting point is that these N.W. states, like Washington and Oregon, are not really blue. Its the large metropolitan areas, such as Seattle and Portland, that are. Basically the same for NY and I hear, Mass.

I boldly wore my TRUMP “Make America Great Again” t-shirt in lunatic fringe Democrat Broward county Florida recently.
Was treated very nicely, and even had a foreign speaking (I think he was eastern European) commend my choice.
Trump supporters are definitely becoming less reticent.
To: GLDNGUN
That fact tells you more about polling than it does anything else.

The interesting point is that these N.W. states, like Washington and Oregon, are not really blue. Its the large metropolitan areas, such as Seattle and Portland, that are. Same in California. Inland California, where people have to deal with reality, is red. Coastal metropolises of SF and LA and Silicon Valley, where people deal with fantasy, are blue, and unfortunately they tend to dominate the discussion. There are many conservatives in the blue areas who dare not speak up due to being outnumbered.
To: Flick Lives
Yes, glad someone else noticed that. A news article that also gives the author the pleasure of doxxing supporters of the one he hates.
