The “lifestyle” cruisers just go back and forth downtown, in straight lines. The dorks used to not even have front brakes they were so wrapped up in the “look”.
Control and performance were of no interest.
There’s a whole pathology in that family from his father’s coldness and inattention to his mother’s suicide.
There’s a scene in Easy Rider when they are tripping out in the New Orleans cemetery where he actually draws on his feelings toward his mother’s suicide.
The scene’s with Jane and her father in On Golden Pond are based on reality and their strained relationship.
Of course it doesn’t excuse their behavior at all but they were one dysfunctional family like many Hollywood ones are.
I also never thought either of the siblings were great actors. The father was in a class by himself but even he was very understated in many of his roles. Just watched him in Fail Safe. Excellent with a very young Larry Hagman.

Hmmm so all the vocal dems in Hse and Senate and all of those running for prez must be heavy into drugs.
That’s the way they act, they are so Psychotic and Sociopathic.
Mostly the drug of hate and ignorance though.
I haven’t seen it. Good movie? Worth seeing? If it is a decent movie at all, let me know. Movies are so bad today, I am always on the lookout for oldies that are at least entertaining. They don’t have to be blockbusters, just entertaining.
Thanks,
D’oh!
Jackie Brown, not Pulp Fiction. Oops... Good catch.
